The Corvette ZR1, backed by a team of top-tier engineers, continues to push boundaries in high-performance testing, setting five new production car lap records across five different U.S. circuits. Four of General Motors’ elite test drivers shattered lap records at Watkins Glen, Road America, Road Atlanta, and two configurations of Virginia International Raceway.

Engineered for Ultimate Performance
Each record was achieved with a pre-production ZR1 equipped with the optional ZTK Performance Package, a suite of advanced aerodynamics and handling upgrades. The package includes a high-downforce rear wing and front aero elements, all crafted from lightweight carbon fiber. Additionally, it features stiffer suspension tuning and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R ZP tires, delivering enhanced grip and precision handling.

A Team of Elite Drivers
The four GM test drivers behind these record-breaking laps boast over 65 years of combined high-performance racing experience. Each has achieved GM Level 6 driver certification and holds the prestigious Nürburgring Industry Pool license, qualifying them to test vehicles under extreme track conditions.

Unrivaled Performance in Its Class
The Corvette ZR1 packs an astonishing 1,064 horsepower, launching from 0–60 mph in just 2.3 seconds and completing the quarter-mile in 9.6 seconds. On the track, it reaches a top speed of 233 mph (375 km/h)—performance unmatched by any other production car under $1 million.

Production & Pricing
Production of the 2025 Corvette ZR1 is set to begin in Q2 2025 at GM’s Bowling Green Assembly plant in Kentucky, with orders opening this month. Pricing starts at $174,995 for the 1LZ coupe and $184,995 for the 1LZ hardtop convertible.

With its record-breaking capabilities, cutting-edge engineering, and segment-defining speed, the Corvette ZR1 reaffirms its status as a true performance icon.
