Ferrari turns the SF90 Stradale into the one-off CZ26

Ferrari has unveiled the CZ26, a one-off created through its Special Projects programme for a private client. The car uses the SF90 Stradale as its technical foundation but features completely new bodywork and a cabin tailored to its owner's wishes.

The CZ26 is the result of around two years of collaboration between the client, Ferrari's Special Projects team and the Ferrari Styling Centre, led by Flavio Manzoni. It made its public debut at Pebble Beach during Monterey Car Week.

Although the underlying hardware comes from the SF90 Stradale, Ferrari completely reworked the body. The styling draws inspiration from the formal purity of 1970s Italian industrial design, combining clean geometric forms with contemporary Ferrari aerodynamics.

Familiar hybrid powertrain, completely new bodywork

The CZ26 retains the SF90 Stradale's plug-in hybrid powertrain. Its 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 produces 574 kW, supplemented by three electric motors for a total system output of 736 kW.

One electric motor sits between the V8 and the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, while two more drive the front wheels. The CZ26 therefore retains the SF90 Stradale's electrically assisted all-wheel-drive layout.

Ferrari has not published separate acceleration or top-speed figures for the CZ26. The SF90 Stradale's performance figures cannot simply be carried over, as the one-off uses different bodywork and a substantially revised aerodynamic package.

Aerodynamics evolved alongside the design

The CZ26 is finished in the exclusive Argento Veloce silver, contrasted by Rosso Lampante red details. Its front end is defined by a broad horizontal treatment, while slim rear lights and a sharply sculpted tail emphasise the car's width.

Ferrari did far more than simply reskin the donor car. The front aerodynamics were reworked to increase downforce over the front axle, while the underbody and vortex-generator system were also redesigned to optimise aerodynamic performance.

Bespoke wheels form part of the overall design, while raw-finish titanium exhaust outlets add a deliberately technical touch at the rear.

The cabin follows the same visual theme

Ferrari carries the exterior theme into the cabin. Body-coloured elements on the dashboard and door panels are joined by restrained Rosso Lampante accents, tying the interior closely to the exterior. The seats are finished with embroidered CZ26 logos.

The CZ26 is not intended to outperform the SF90 Stradale through greater power. Its significance lies instead in its unique design and in the way Ferrari has transformed an existing hybrid supercar into an entirely individual commission for a single client.

Through the Special Projects programme, Ferrari creates one-off cars for selected clients using the technical foundations of existing production models. The CZ26 will remain unique, and Ferrari has disclosed neither its price nor the identity of its owner.
