Lamborghini Temerario: So You Can Scream at the Planet with a Cleaner Conscience

If you’ve always thought of Lamborghinis as noisy toys for the fabulously wealthy—gas-guzzling divas that demand refueling every 20 kilometers—you’re absolutely right. But now there’s a new player in the arena: the Lamborghini Temerario. It’s still loud, still unhinged, but now—surprise—it’s electrified. Welcome to an era where your environmental conscience comes wrapped in 920 horsepower.

Naturally, the big reveal took place in Paris—because where else would you launch something this luxurious, this deafening, and this gleefully impractical? The Lamborghini brass were out in full force, with CEO Stephan Winkelmann declaring the Temerario a supercar for the future: a mad fusion of twin-turbo V8, electric motors, and aerodynamic wizardry that looks better suited to a fighter jet than a city street.

0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds. A top speed north of 340 km/h. But most importantly, a brand-new sound profile—so every time you accelerate, it feels like you're storming down an F1 circuit, not edging through a suburban Parisian traffic jam.

Visually, the Temerario echoes the Aventador’s silhouette, with a cabin decked out in carbon fiber, leather, and something mysteriously dubbed Corsatex—a material whose true nature remains as elusive as the fuel economy figures.

Also introduced: the Temerario Alleggerita, a stripped-down, meaner version that’s lighter, leaner, and even more rabid.

With the Temerario, Lamborghini completes its transformation into a hybrid brand. All models are now partially electrified—but don’t mistake that for a loss of lunacy. If you ever start wondering whether a car should be quiet, efficient, or sensible, Lamborghini is here to remind you: absolutely not.
