The new Russian Volga arrived, conquered… and turned out to be made in China

It seems Russia’s carmakers have stopped even pretending. Footage circulating online shows the long-awaited new Volga — hailed as a proud symbol of the reborn domestic auto industry — on its way to a presentation in Moscow. Only one problem: the “new” Volga turned out to be a Chinese Geely Atlas with shiny Volga badges stuck on the bonnet.
