2027 Lexus RZ focuses on 561 km range and steer-by-wire
The 2027 Lexus RZ line-up presents buyers with two clear priorities: longer range on smaller wheels, or more equipment with steer-by-wire. Prices for the electric SUV start at €52,000 in Spain, while the most efficient version has a claimed range of up to 561 km.
Smaller wheels deliver longer range
According to Lexus, the 2027 RZ line-up comprises four trim levels: Premium, Executive, Luxury and F Sport. Premium is further divided into two versions, with their wheels providing the most visible difference.
The front-wheel-drive RZ 350e Premium Efficiency uses 18-inch wheels and, according to the manufacturer, delivers up to 561 km of range on the combined cycle. It costs €52,000 in Spain. The Premium with 20-inch machined-finish wheels costs €52,900 and promises more than 510 km of range.
The more striking set of wheels therefore adds €900 to the list price, but the cheaper Efficiency is better suited to buyers seeking the longest range. The source data does not, however, allow an exact range difference to be calculated, as the manufacturer gives only a figure of “more than 510 km” for the version with 20-inch wheels.

RZ 350e Premium Efficiency: 18-inch wheels, combined range of up to 561 km, priced at €52,000 in Spain.

Steer by Wire with a Jet-style steering wheel: optional on Luxury, standard on F Sport.
Spanish price range: €52,000 to €70,900; the source does not specify prices or availability beyond Spain.
Premium brings comfort equipment to the entry-level model
Standard equipment on Premium includes electrically adjustable, heated seats upholstered in synthetic leather, radiant heating and a 360-degree parking camera. A digital instrument cluster is complemented by the Lexus Pro multimedia system, with a 14-inch touchscreen and integrated navigation.
Buyers also get keyless entry and starting, a powered tailgate and Bi-LED headlights with automatic high-beam control. The cheapest version is therefore not simply a sparsely equipped base model designed to deliver a range figure.
Executive offers a choice of front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive: the RZ 350e Executive FWD costs €55,900 in Spain, while the RZ 500e Executive AWD costs €61,900. Luxury and F Sport are listed as trims for the all-wheel-drive RZ 500e.
Steer-by-wire available on two trim levels
Lexus offers its Steer by Wire electronic steering system as an option on Luxury and as standard on F Sport. The system comes with a Jet-style steering wheel that differs from a conventional round wheel.
The Spanish price list gives the RZ 500e Luxury, Luxury Steer by Wire and F Sport the same price of €70,900. Although the text describes electronic steering as optional on Luxury, the pricing table does not show a separate surcharge for it. The table lists metallic or two-tone paint at €750.
For European buyers, the Spanish line-up provides a useful reference point, but these prices cannot automatically be applied to other markets. The source does not specify prices or availability beyond Spain. Motor power, battery capacity, charging figures and energy consumption are also absent, leaving a technical comparison with the predecessor or competitors open for now.
