Rolls-Royce presents Spectre at Auto Shanghai

The Spectre is an exciting new electric car by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars that prioritizes its identity as a Rolls-Royce first, and an electric car second. Recently unveiled at Auto Shanghai 2023, it boasts a stunning two-tone Morganite with Gunmetal exterior finish, inspired by the rare Morganite gemstone, and is a new addition to the Rolls-Royce Bespoke portfolio.

The Spectre is a true masterpiece, with an imposing and refined appearance that showcases the widest-ever grille produced by Rolls-Royce, with a proud angle and polished stainless-steel finish. Its stunning proportions, long front bonnet, and graceful silhouette with a beautiful falling fastback roofline, combined with magnificent 23-inch wheels, create a sense of strength and elegance.

Inside, Spectre offers an unrivalled luxury sanctuary with sumptuous Grace White leather upholstery highlighted by bold Ardent Red secondary details. The Canadel doors are a new addition, crafted from a single sheet of wood and precisely placed at an exact 55-degree angle to evoke a sense of motion within the car. The interior design is further enhanced with delicate Peony Pink accents on the RR monograms, contrast piping and stitching on the instrument panel, and Open Pore Tudor Oak veneer panels that gracefully merge into the fascia surfaces.

To ensure the famous Rolls-Royce ‘magic carpet ride,’ Spectre has undergone the most challenging testing program ever undertaken by the marque. The Planar suspension system is an orchestra of systems with precisely defined responses to driver inputs and road conditions, made possible by the latest software and hardware developments. The battery is cleverly mounted to create a low seating position, an enveloping cabin, and almost 700kg of sound deadening, supporting the hallmark experience of silence within the car.
