FSD appointed by near-space tourism group HALO Space

Frank Stephenson Design (FSD) has recently taken on a groundbreaking project in the field of future mobility design. The design studio has been appointed to lead the design and construction of an aerospace capsule for HALO Space, a pioneering company in the development of a new form of space tourism.

HALO Space aims to provide zero-emission space journeys to the edge of space using a modern capsule that ascends with a stratospheric balloon up to 40 km above Earth. With the nomination of Frank Stephenson Design, the studio’s reputation as a leading global design house in the mobility sector is further solidified.

The aerospace capsule, designed by FSD, will be capable of carrying up to eight passengers and a capsule pilot on a six-hour journey into the stratosphere. This extraordinary experience will allow passengers to witness the Earth and space in a unique way, previously accessible only to astronauts and a select few private citizens.
