Toyota unveiled a new concept for an electric urban SUV

Toyota has recently unveiled a new concept for an electric urban SUV, providing a glimpse into the future of its battery-powered electric vehicles designed for the European market. This new concept vehicle, set to be part of a selection of six electric models, is the most compact of the lineup and is slated for release in 2024.

Developed based on the experience gained from the hybrid Yaris Cross, this new electric SUV is designed to be functional and meet the needs of European customers. It embodies the classic small urban SUV design with a compact body and an elevated driving position. The interior is functional and easily adaptable, depending on the need for more passenger or cargo space.

The vehicle will be available in both front-wheel and all-wheel drive options. For the production model, two battery size options will be offered, allowing customers to choose between a larger or smaller battery based on their needs and preferences for space or driving range.

Toyota’s plan is to introduce six different electric vehicle models in Europe by 2026. More information and the production model will be announced in 2024.
