A Fusion of Luxury and Performance
In a groundbreaking collaboration, Ducati and Bentley have unveiled the Ducati Diavel for Bentley, a limited-edition motorcycle that epitomizes the excellence of both iconic brands. This collaboration, showcasing a shared vision of performance, craftsmanship, and exclusivity, has culminated in a motorcycle that is a testament to technological innovation, style, and high performance.
The Ducati Diavel for Bentley is set to make its public debut tonight at a special ‘fuorisalone’ event during Art Basel in Miami, a renowned contemporary art fair. This event promises to be a spectacular showcase of this unique collaboration.
Built on the advanced technical foundation of the Ducati Diavel V4, known for its high performance and comfort, the Ducati Diavel for Bentley incorporates distinct elements from the Bentley Batur, a limited edition car with only 18 handcrafted examples. The motorcycle will be produced in a numbered series of 500 units, with an additional 50 “Ducati Diavel for Bentley Mulliner” bikes, exclusively reserved for Bentley customers. These special editions emphasize personalization and the unique design features of the Batur.
The Batur represents Bentley’s most powerful production car, featuring a 740 PS twin-turbo W12 engine. It sets a new design direction for Bentley, blending peerless craftsmanship with a muscular, sculptured bodywork that exudes power and elegance. Each of the 18 Baturs is individually handcrafted by Mulliner, Bentley’s bespoke division.
The design, a collaborative effort between Centro Stile Ducati and Bentley designers, draws inspiration from the Batur, particularly in its side view lines. The bike sports the Scarab Green color from Bentley Mulliner’s palette, enhancing its elegance. Key features from the Batur are incorporated throughout the bike, including forged rims, two-tone air intakes, and design elements mirroring the car’s front hood and rear.
The Diavel for Bentley boasts high-quality carbon fiber components and a black Alcantara rider’s seat, reflecting the luxury interior of the Batur. The dual outlet exhaust has been redesigned to complement the bike’s refined lines.
In addition to the 500 units, Ducati presents 50 exclusive Diavel for Bentley Mulliner bikes. These allow customers to personalize their motorcycles with various colors and features, offering an even higher level of exclusivity.
Each Diavel for Bentley comes with a certificate of authenticity, a passenger seat, and a personalized wooden case. Special animations on the dashboard and LED matrix rear light cluster add to its distinctiveness. The motorcycle features the 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine, known for its power, lightness, and compactness.
This collaboration is a result of Ducati and Bentley being part of Volkswagen Group’s “Progressive Brand Group.” The joint venture also includes a Capsule Collection, offering customers a limited-edition helmet and technical jacket, complementing the motorcycle’s design.
This partnership between Ducati and Bentley not only marks a new chapter in the world of luxury vehicles but also sets a new benchmark for combining style, performance, and exclusivity in the motorbike industry.
