Hispano Suiza reveals the name of its new car: Sagrera

The legendary heritage of Hispano Suiza continues to evolve as the renowned manufacturer steps into the realm of fully electric hypercars. Founded in 1904, the company is gearing up to celebrate its 120th anniversary next year and has unveiled the name of its latest creation: Sagrera. This name, much like Carmen or Boulogne, carries profound historical significance for Hispano Suiza.

In 1911, buoyed by the commercial success of its vehicles, Hispano Suiza relocated to the ‘La Sagrera’ district of Barcelona, a hub known for its industrial activity. Here, the company established its first large factory on Ribas Road, spanning 50,000 m2 and undergoing two expansions to meet the growing market demands. The Sagrera factory employed 1,800 people and played a pivotal role in the brand’s history.

On a technical front, the Sagrera will feature the new 103kW battery, previously tested on the Carmen Boulogne, signifying a significant advancement in aerodynamics.

In essence, the Sagrera has been meticulously crafted to perpetuate the legend, elevating performance, sportiness, and the luxury of passion to unprecedented heights.
