Hyundai IONIQ 6 sweeps World Car of the Year

The Hyundai IONIQ 6 won the World Car of the Year, World Electric Vehicle and World Car Design of the Year. A group of 100 car journalists from 32 countries picked it out of three finalists launched in 2022. This is actually the second time Hyundai has won all three awards in a row – they won last year with the IONIQ 5.

The IONIQ 6 is part of Hyundai’s all-electric lineup called IONIQ. It’s super cool because it has a special Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) architecture that lets it charge ultra-fast and has a lot of space inside. Plus, it’s one of the most aerodynamic and energy efficient EVs out there, with a drag coefficient of just 0.21. The car’s range on a single charge is 543 kilometers, which is pretty impressive.

There are a lot of other features too, like Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, driver assistance systems, and advanced connectivity with over-the-air (OTA) software updates that make it a really great car. And the interior is really spacious and comfortable, with all kinds of cool features like Dual Color Ambient Lighting, Speed Sync Lighting, EV Performance Tune-up and Electric Active Sound Design (e-ASD) to make your electric driving experience even better.
