Munro unveils all-electric MK_1 Pick-Up

Munro Vehicles has introduced its latest model, the MK_1 Pick-Up, following the successful launch of the Munro MK_1 Truck. This pick-up truck is designed to meet the growing global demand for capable and practical vehicles. It caters to industries such as mining, construction, utilities, agriculture, and defense, allowing them to meet decarbonization goals while maintaining performance.
The Munro MK_1 Pick-Up features a distinctive appearance, showcased in a vibrant Munro yellow paint finish in the Performance variant. Like other models in the MK_1 range, it combines the reliability and repairability of a full-time 4×4 mechanical drivetrain with an advanced electric powertrain, ensuring zero tailpipe emissions.
The spacious rear bed of the Munro MK_1 Pick-Up can accommodate a Euro Pallet payload of up to 1050kg, while the Performance model boasts a maximum braked towing capacity of 3,500kg. This enables effortless transportation of various loads, ranging from farm equipment and livestock to construction materials and disaster relief supplies.
With its impressive power output of 375/280kW and instant torque of 700Mn/516ft-lb, the Munro MK_1 Pick-Up accelerates from 0 to 60mph in just 4.9 seconds. It is equipped with a 220kW electric motor and offers Utility and Range variants to suit different needs.
The 82.4kWh battery can be rapidly charged from 15% to 80% in just 36 minutes using a 100kW DC charger. A fully charged battery provides a range of over 190 miles, allowing the MK_1 to operate off-road for up to 16 hours on a single charge.
