Renault is launching a completely new model

On 25 October, an event will take place in Rio de Janeiro where Renault will present its new international strategy. As part of this, a new cross-country vehicle, intended for international markets, will be introduced to the public, bearing the name Kardian.

The new B-segment model embodies the beginning of the brand’s new product positioning in markets outside Europe. The completely new Renault Kardian will first be released for sale in Latin America. The name, with clear international consonants, is associated not only with strength and protection, but also with dynamic flexibility.

According to rumors, Kardian may be the Renault version of Dacia Sandero Stepway, which in turn is a higher version of the third-generation Sandero, powered by 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol engines. It is interesting that the model is positioned as a crossover, primarily aimed at the South American market, suggesting that it is not electric only.
