The all-new Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé

The second-generation Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé has been introduced as the latest flagship model by Mercedes-AMG. This model combines dynamic driving performance with enhanced practicality for everyday use. Notable features include the AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension with active roll stabilization, standard rear-axle steering, and active aerodynamics for improved driving dynamics. For the first time, the sporty coupé utilizes the fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system, paired with the AMG 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine, delivering an exceptional driving experience. The car’s structure supports a 2+2-seater configuration with ample space for passengers and luggage. This new Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé highlights the technical prowess of the Affalterbach development team and extends the lineage of high-performance cars like the SLS, the first-generation GT, the GT 4-door Coupé, and the SL.

The market introduction includes two models: the AMG GT 63 4MATIC+ Coupé featuring an output of 430 kW (585 hp) and the AMG GT 55 4MATIC+ Coupé with an output of 350 kW (476 hp). The exterior design showcases a modern and iconic sports car evolution, featuring a balanced design with sleek proportions, a distinctive grille, expressive lighting, and an active rear spoiler. Inside, the cabin combines “hyper analogue” design elements with digital features from the AMG-specific MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system. The newly introduced 2+2 seating concept provides enhanced interior space and utility, including rear seats suitable for passengers up to 1.5 meters tall.

Under the hood, the AMG 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine powers the new GT Coupé. The top model, GT 63 4MATIC+, generates 430 kW (585 hp) and 800 Nm of torque, achieving a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 3.2 seconds. The GT 55 4MATIC+ produces 350 kW (476 hp) and 700 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. The AMG GT Coupé incorporates the AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension, rear-axle steering, and an active rear-axle locking differential for superior driving dynamics. The AMG DYNAMIC SELECT drive programs offer a wide range of driving experiences, while the AMG TRACK PACE data logger provides performance tracking on racetracks.

The new Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé is also equipped with advanced driver assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, and collision prevention systems. Connectivity features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and digital radio, along with services offered through Mercedes me connect.
