Toyota Unveils the New Electric SUV Concept

Toyota has recently showcased a concept model of its sporty compact SUV, offering a glimpse into the new battery-powered electric vehicle set to join Toyota’s electric vehicle lineup in 2025. Revealed at the Toyota Kenshiki forum in Brussels, the concept car features a streamlined body and distinctive sloping rooflines, which the manufacturer believes will capture the attention of those considering their first electric vehicle purchase. The concept car is designed as a comfortable and practical five-door vehicle, boasting a large trunk and ample legroom for rear-seat passengers.

The sporty compact SUV concept model was first presented at the Auto Shanghai show in April this year. It has been developed for both the Chinese and European markets by BYD Toyota EV Technology Co. Ltd. (BTET), a joint venture established in China by Toyota and BYD.

Toyota plans to introduce six different electric vehicle models in Europe by 2026, marking a significant step in expanding its electric vehicle offerings and catering to the growing demand for environmentally friendly and energy-efficient transportation solutions.
