At CES 2024, Mercedes-Benz unveiled a range of digital innovations significantly enhancing customer experience both inside and outside the vehicle. Central to these innovations is the new MBUX virtual assistant, based on generative AI and advanced 3D graphics. This development makes interactions more natural, intuitive, and personalized. Built on the newly developed Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS) from the ground up, the MBUX virtual assistant leads the way to an extraordinary digital experience.
The MBUX virtual assistant presented at CES is the most human-like interface by Mercedes-Benz to date. Operating on MB.OS, it offers a new level of interaction, enabling natural and empathetic communication. Equipped with four different emotions, the MBUX virtual assistant aligns with customer needs, utilizing generative AI and proactive intelligence to simplify, comfort, and enhance life. Additionally, the power of MB.OS and advanced 3D game-engine graphics are harnessed in MBUX Surround Navigation, seamlessly integrating route guidance and assistance.
Mercedes-Benz continues to add more productivity, convenience, and personalization to their vehicles by constantly expanding their app portfolio.
Moreover, CES 2024 marks the North American premiere of the Concept CLA Class, which is based on the upcoming Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture (MMA). Other highlights include the new MBUX SOUND DRIVE developed by Mercedes-AMG in collaboration with American entrepreneur will.i.am. Mercedes-Benz is also elevating in-car audio storytelling in collaboration with Audible and Amazon Music. Additionally, the camouflaged prototype of the new electric G-Class makes its North American debut.
