Volkswagen's New Estate Electric Vehicle, the ID.7 Tourer, Offers Up to 685 Kilometers of Range on a Single Charge

The new estate electric vehicle from Volkswagen, the ID.7 Tourer, boasts an impressive range of up to 685 kilometers on a single charge. The model also stands out for its spaciousness, accommodating five passengers and offering up to 605 liters of trunk space, which can be expanded to 1714 liters with only two passengers.

The new Volkswagen models will hit the European market initially as the ID.7 Tourer Pro and ID.7 Tourer Pro S, both versions being rear-wheel drive, with a power output of 210 kW (286 hp) and a maximum torque of 545 Nm.

The ID.7 Tourer is available in two battery size versions, with the larger 86 kWh (gross 91 kWh) battery version allowing for a range of up to 685 kilometers. This range is achieved thanks to an efficient electric drive and aerodynamic design. Models with a 77 kWh battery can charge at fast-charging stations with up to 175 kW power, while the larger 86 kWh battery versions can charge at up to 200 kW, meaning the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in about 28 minutes.
