Suzuki has announced a Spanish price of €7,199 for the new SV-7S. Continuing the SV650’s legacy, the middleweight naked motorcycle combines a 645 cm³ V2 engine with ride-by-wire throttle control, three riding modes and a bidirectional quickshifter.

Familiar engine, more modern controls

According to a Suzuki Motos press release dated 5 November 2026, the SV-7S unveiled at the EICMA show in Milan has a 90-degree V2 engine producing 53.7 kW and 64 Nm. The same engine configuration has shaped the SV family’s character for more than 25 years.

The new model also shares a tubular steel trellis frame and a round LED headlight with the SV650. Electronics are at the heart of the update: alongside the traditional engine layout, riders get considerably more scope to adjust the motorcycle’s responses than before. However, the source does not specify the exact differences in equipment or performance compared with the SV650.

  • Engine: 645 cm³, 90-degree V2, 53.7 kW and 64 Nm.

  • Electronics: ride-by-wire throttle control, three riding modes and switchable traction control with three intervention levels.

  • Standard equipment: bidirectional quickshifter, LED lighting and a 4.2-inch TFT display.

  • Chassis and ergonomics: tubular steel trellis frame, 785 mm seat height.

  • Price in Spain: €7,199; the source does not specify pricing or availability in other European markets.

Quickshifter fitted as standard

The Suzuki Intelligent Ride System, or S.I.R.S., brings together ride-by-wire throttle control, the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector’s three riding modes and traction control with three intervention levels. Riders can also switch the traction control off.

A bidirectional quickshifter is fitted as standard. The main appeal of the SV-7S’s equipment is therefore more than just a display or phone connectivity: the riding modes, traction control and quickshifter directly affect how the motorcycle is used.

Information is shown on a 4.2-inch colour TFT display. Suzuki Ride Connect+ offers turn-by-turn navigation, notifications and traffic information, while all lighting uses LED technology.

Spanish price provides a reference for European buyers

Seat height is 785 mm. This gives buyers an initial measurement for assessing the riding position, but seat height alone does not indicate how easily they can reach the ground or describe the overall ergonomics. The source does not disclose the motorcycle’s weight.

The colour options are pearl deep blue, gloss black and a combination of metallic silver and gloss black.

The €7,199 price applies to the Spanish market. The announcement does not specify prices or availability elsewhere in Europe. The Spanish price therefore provides European buyers with a reference point, rather than confirmation of their local price. The model’s central appeal is clear: Suzuki combines the SV family’s characteristic V2 engine with an extensive suite of standard electronics.
